Finally working: JBullet within SmartFox, connected to OpenSimulator and Unity3D!
SmartFox-Server running a JBullet simulation. OpenSimulator and Unity3D are connected to that SmartFox-Server and displaying the simulation data live.

30. April 2012: OpenSimulator: External Physic Simulation
Unity3D is performing a physical simulation and transfers the world state continuously to a SmartFox-Server. OpenSimulator is connected to that SmartFox-Server and displays the simulation data live. The bandwidth limits the objects update frequency.
The next step will be adding JBullet to SmartFox, to enable running the simulation directly on the SmartFox-Server. This way OpenSimulator and Unity3D will both only display the data generated by the simulation and SmartFox becomes the central instance for the calculations.
Unity3D führt eine physikalische Simulation durch und überträgt die Daten ständig an einen SmartFox-Server. OpenSimulator ist mit diesem SmartFox-Server verbunden und stellt den Zustand der Simulation live dar. Die Bandbreite limitiert die Aktualisierungsrate der Objekte.
In einem nächsten Schritt wird JBullet in SmartFox integriert, damit die Simulation direkt auf dem SmartFox-Server laufen kann. Dadurch stellen OpenSimulator und Unity3D die durch die Simulation erzeugten Daten lediglich dar und SmartFox wird die zentrale Instanz für die Berechnungen.
